Beatification of Pope John Paul II
Well, it is finally official. Pope Benedict XVI has set the date for the beatification of Pope John Paul II for May 1, 2011. This happens to be Divine Mercy Sunday, a special day that John Paul II himself initiated. No doubt there will be thousands there for this very special event.
